Knights of Columbus

Welcome to our council web site. We are in the process of doing a major update to the site. Thank you in advance for your patience if not all of the pages are fully functional.

Council #7246 serves the Parishes of Sacred Heart in Newport, it’s mission St. Mary’s in Siletz and Saint Anthony’s in Waldport.

We currently have 156 members. Our General Membership meeting is held on the 4th Thursday of the month. The meeting starts at 7:30pm with the Rosary in the Sacred Heart Sanctuary. We then move to our clubhouse for the meeting. Our clubhouse is located in the lower level of the Sacred Heart Ministry House, directly behind Sacred Heart Church.

Our general meetings are open to any Catholic male over the age of 18. We encourage prospective new members to attend a meeting and see what we are all about. We also welcome visiting brother knights from other councils.

We also have a monthly officer’s meeting which is held on the 3rd Tuesday evening of each month. The meeting starts at 5:45pm and is also in the clubhouse.

The Knights of Columbus are dedicated to our founding principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. Our council holds a number of fund raisers each year and contributes many thousands of dollars yearly to local and statewide charities.
