High Dynamic Range or HDR photography is a digital tool that allows photographers to capture the entire dynamic range of a scene from highlights to shadows. High Dynamic Range or HDR photography is a digital tool that allows photographers to capture the entire dynamic range of a scene from highlights to shadows. This workshop will talk about the best conditions to apply HDR photography, different techniques for capturing images and how to process the images using Photomatix Pro and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. Participants will need these applications and both have free 30 day trials that can be downloaded here: http://www.hdrsoft.com/download.html and http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshoplightroom. (Download a week prior to workshop.) Also needed will be a digital slr, tripod, and laptop computer.
